FOOD
The city may be small, but it is definitely not lacking in cute cafés and brunch spots. Brunch is an essential part of the Danish lifestyle, so definitely check out a few brunch spots, but be wary of high food prices in Denmark.
Danish foods you should try:
I know oatmeal might sound boring to you, but it's probably because you've never been to Grød. It's a super popular spot in Copenhagen, because it offers porridge with a whole bunch of yummy toppings that are completely customizable and healthy.
A piece of dense, dark rye bread typically topped with some type of fish or meat (herring, beef, even liver), cheese or spreads, and various garnishes.
A type of meatball (sometimes made with fish). I had an amazing one at a restaurant called, The Union Kitchen.
Not your typical weiner sausage in a potato roll, but comparatively just as affordable!
A knotted cinnamon roll (but better) from a bakery called Meyers Bageri. The best thing I ate in Copenhagen, hands down.
